Netflix is expanding its collaboration with bestselling crime author Harlan Coben by officially announcing Myron Bolitar, a new drama series arriving after the breakout success of I Will Find You. The announcement comes as I Will Find You continues to dominate Netflix’s global charts, reinforcing the platform’s commitment to adapting Coben’s bestselling novels.
The upcoming series will be based on Coben’s longest-running book franchise and is being developed by acclaimed television creator David E. Kelley alongside Kyle Long.
Colin Woodell leads the cast as Myron Bolitar
Netflix has confirmed that Colin Woodell (Pulse, The Continental) will play Myron Bolitar, a former college basketball star whose NBA dreams end after a career-changing injury. Reinventing himself as a sports agent, Myron becomes entangled in dangerous investigations involving blackmail, disappearances, and murder while protecting his clients.
Joining Woodell are KJ Apa as Myron’s longtime friend and business partner Win Lockwood, and Diane Guerrero as Esperanza Diaz, a former professional wrestler who serves as the backbone of Myron’s sports agency.
The character first appeared in Coben’s 1995 novel Deal Breaker and has since headlined 12 novels, making him one of the author’s most recognizable creations.

Netflix continues its decade-long partnership with Harlan Coben
The project marks another major milestone in Netflix’s ongoing relationship with Coben, which began in 2018. The partnership has already produced hit adaptations including Fool Me Once, Run Away, and the recently released I Will Find You, starring Sam Worthington and Britt Lower.
According to Netflix, Myron Bolitar is considered one of the author’s most personal projects.
“What an honor — not to mention, great fun — it is to partner up at Netflix with legend David E. Kelley and his remarkable team on this exciting new series,” Coben said. “The Myron Bolitar books mean a great deal to me, and I’m thrilled to have such a talented and inspired group bringing them to life.”
Netflix’s Head of Series for the U.S. and Canada, Jinny Howe, also highlighted the significance of the adaptation.
“After a decade and 11 series together, we’re honored that Harlan Coben has entrusted Netflix with his most personal and iconic character, Myron Bolitar. Bringing this story to the screen has been a big priority for us.”
The series will be executive produced by David E. Kelley, Kyle Long, Matthew Tinker, Rick Muirragui, Greg Yaitanes, and Harlan Coben through Final Twist Productions.
No release date announced yet
Netflix has not revealed a premiere date for Myron Bolitar, and production details remain limited. However, the announcement signals that the streamer intends to continue building one of its most successful crime thriller franchises.
With I Will Find You continuing its strong performance globally and previous adaptations like Fool Me Once becoming international hits, Myron Bolitar is positioned to become the next major Harlan Coben series on Netflix.
