Inspired by a popular podcast from KT Studios and iHeartMedia, Murder 101 breaks away from the usual detective-led narratives. Instead, it follows a group of students guided by their teacher, Alex Campbell, as they take on a decades-old cold case that once gripped the American South.

Set in a quiet Tennessee town, the series focuses on the infamous “Redhead Murders,” a string of unsolved killings that had largely faded from public attention over time. What begins as a sociology class project soon turns into a serious investigation, as students from Elizabethton High School begin digging into forgotten evidence.
