Linkin Park is bringing fans behind the scenes of their comeback with a new documentary titled Unshatter, which will chronicle the band’s emotional return following years of uncertainty after the death of vocalist Chester Bennington in 2017. Directed by Linkin Park member Joe Hahn, the documentary will arrive in cinemas on September 30, 2026, with tickets becoming available on August 13.
Alongside the film, the band will release a live album titled Unshatter: Live In São Paulo on September 25. The album was recorded during Linkin Park’s 2024 comeback tour and will capture performances from one of the most important periods in the group’s history.
Unshatter will cover the band’s reunion process, including early studio sessions from 2022, the recording of their comeback album From Zero, and their massive worldwide tour.

Unshatter aims to show a different side of Linkin Park’s return, focusing not only on music but also on the personal challenges involved in rebuilding the band after such a significant loss.
Director Joe Hahn explained that the documentary captures a unique chapter in the group’s journey.
“Unshatter follows a very particular moment in Linkin Park’s history and documents a path through loss, uncertainty, friendship, and reinvention,”
Hahn said.
He added that the film is intended to give longtime fans a deeper look at the band while introducing new audiences to their story. Hahn said he hopes viewers connect with it as
“a story about relationships, resilience, and what it really takes to move forward when you don’t have all the answers.”
The documentary will feature Linkin Park’s new lineup, including vocalist Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara and drummer Colin Brittain, who joined the band during its reunion announcement.
Linkin Park’s From Zero era became a major success
The reunion initially faced controversy among some fans following Armstrong’s addition as lead vocalist, but Linkin Park’s comeback quickly gained commercial momentum. The band’s album From Zero, released on November 15, 2024, became a major success, reaching No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
The album also achieved strong international results, earning multiple Platinum certifications in countries including Brazil and France.
The accompanying From Zero World Tour became one of Linkin Park’s biggest concert runs, reportedly attracting around three million fans worldwide and generating more than $200 million in revenue. The tour included major performances such as their sold-out Wembley Stadium headline show in London in 2025.
At Download Festival, Linkin Park also made history when they became the first band featuring a female vocalist to headline the main stage at Donington Park. Speaking with BBC during the festival, Mike Shinoda highlighted Armstrong’s appreciation for the opportunity, saying she felt grateful to represent the moment.
With Unshatter, Linkin Park will document one of the most significant comebacks in modern rock music, showing how the band rebuilt its identity while honoring its past.
