Harlan Coben’s I Will Find You continues to prove that Netflix viewers cannot get enough of the author’s twist-filled mysteries. The eight-episode limited series, starring Sam Worthington and Britt Lower, has become one of Netflix’s biggest scripted successes of 2026 and remains a major presence on the streaming charts.
According to Netflix, I Will Find You entered the platform’s Most Popular Shows of All Time list at No. 10 after reaching more than 101 million views. The series also became Netflix’s biggest scripted debut of 2026 and spent five weeks at No. 1 on the Global Top 10 English TV list.
Harlan Coben’s Thriller Defies Mixed Critical Reviews
Based on Coben’s 2023 novel, I Will Find You follows David Burroughs, a father serving a life sentence for murdering his son. His life changes when evidence suggests that the boy may actually be alive, forcing David to escape prison and uncover the truth.

Sam Worthington leads the cast as David, alongside Britt Lower, Milo Ventimiglia, Logan Browning, Erin Richards and Chi McBride. In an interview with Netflix, Coben explained the story’s emotional direction, saying, “This story starts in a very dark place,” but he wanted to create a story with “light,” “hope” and “optimism.”
The series has succeeded despite receiving a more divided response from critics. Its popularity has nevertheless continued to grow, demonstrating the enduring appeal of Coben’s fast-paced mystery storytelling.
Netflix also confirmed that I Will Find You is the first series from its long-running partnership with Coben to be set in the United States. With more than 100 million views and a place among Netflix’s all-time biggest English-language series, the show has become another major milestone for the bestselling author’s successful relationship with the streamer.
